These Service Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you (“Customer”) and Transbaggage, governing your access to and use of all services provided by Transbaggage, including this website, subdomains, web or mobile applications, booking platforms, and any Transbaggage-branded service offerings.
1. Services & Definitions
– **Account/Member:** A registered user or partner account for accessing Transbaggage services.
– **Arriving Service:** Collection and delivery from the airport, including up to 30 minutes of handler waiting time.
– **Baggage Collection:** Pickup of your baggage from your address as per your order; curbside unless otherwise specified.
– **Booking:** An accepted booking request, confirmed in writing by Transbaggage.
– **Collection Point/Time:** The address and time window for picking up baggage.
– **Daily, Short Term & Long Term Storage:** Short term is less than 30 days; long term is 30 or more days and billed in 30-day increments.
– **Handler:** Drivers or customer service agents responsible for collecting, sealing, and delivering your bags.
– **Delivery/Delivery Point:** Transport and drop-off of baggage at your chosen address.
– **Prohibited Items:** Goods restricted by air or local authorities, including hazardous, illegal, or dangerous items.
– **Pricing:** Fees shown at time of booking; subject to VAT and updated without notice.
2. Acceptance of Terms
– By using our platforms, you accept these Terms.
– The Terms may be updated at any time; continued use means acceptance of updates.
3. Service Availability
– Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
– No guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation is given.
4. Disclaimers
– Information on the site does not constitute a warranty or commitment unless specifically agreed in writing.
– Maximum permitted liability and legal waivers apply per local law.
5. Bookings & Services
– Bookings can be made via website or app.
– Transbaggage can decline or cancel requests at any time.
– Bookings are only confirmed once you receive written confirmation.
6. Service Overview
Departing/Arriving Services & UAE Transfer
– Includes collection, storage, same day or extended storage, delivery.
– First three bags stored free for 24 hours; extra days or bags incur additional charges.
Short & Long Term Storage
– Pre-payment and security deposit may be required.
– Late collections can default to long term storage with additional fees.
– Baggage uncollected after six months may be destroyed.
Express & VIP Service
– Pre-paid only, with specific service-level charges and conditions.
7. Pricing & Payment
– All bookings require pre-payment unless you are a member.
– Prices include VAT.
– Additional fees may apply for delays, amendments, or extra storage.
8. Cancellations & Amendments
– Cancellations over 2 hours in advance are free; late cancellations may be non-refundable or incur fees.
– Amendments may incur a fee, especially for changes within 2 hours of collection time.
9. Discount/Promo Codes
– Non-refundable, non-combinable unless otherwise specified.
10. Liability & Bag Protection
– Maximum loss/damage claim is $1,000 per booking.
– Bag protection covers goods only if you comply with terms (proof of booking, photos at check-in, etc.).
– Lost, damaged, or stolen items must be reported within 12 hours of the booking’s end.
11. Prohibited, Restricted & Dangerous Items
– Customers are responsible for all items inside their baggage and for compliance with all applicable laws.
– Transbaggage will cooperate with authorities on any illegal activity.
12. Data Privacy
– Your data is handled per our privacy policy, available on the website.
– By booking, you permit us to use your data for service delivery and as required by law.
13. Right of Service Refusal
– We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone endangering staff, violating terms, or using threatening/abusive language.
14. Miscellaneous
– Terms are effective to the extent permitted by law.
